Welcome!

I am a Christian, single mom, and a teacher. I actually started this blog as part of a requirement for a class I was taking. It wasn't until I got ADDICTED to Pinterest, and started Blog-hopping that I decided to actually keep up with mine. I hope you find something you can use, and something you can contribute! Make it a great day!!!

This was the cake I made for my friend's son's first birthday.  It was so much fun!  The dino nests are chow-mien noodles covered in melted chocolate with chocolate eggs in them.  The shrubs are a horribly ugly dollar store plant that I cut apart and stuck in the cake.  The rocks are edible candy rocks (jelly inside).  The river is gel frosting with the bank being made of crushed Oreo cookies mixed with chocolate frosting with the final touch of Swedish fish (some in the dino mouth and some that just had the tail cut off and sticking out of the river like a jumping fish).  If I thought the kids would have eaten it I would have used coconut dyed green over the green frosting to look like grass.  I think it turned out great!  What do you think?  What would you do differently?
